Does the calculation account for birthdays not yet reached this year?
Yes. The result only increments after the birthday has passed.
Can I calculate age for a future birth date?
No. The birth date must be on or before the selected as-of date. The as-of date itself may be in the past or future.
Does it account for time zones?
The two date-only values are compared as UTC calendar dates, so daylight-saving hour changes do not alter the age breakdown.
